Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day Cards
We all LOVE our Moms and cannot wait to show them how much we appreciate them every year on their special day!

Stop in this Saturday and we will help you personalize those Mother's Day gifts with a hand made card. We will have a couple of styles of cards to choose from so you can use your creativity to make a card that is just from you. This is a FREE event! Stop in anytime between 10:00am and 4:00pm to make your Mom a card that truly says "I Love You".

While you are there, pick a flower from our bouquet to see what discount you get off your total order (excludes sale items).

For all of you moms that are reading this, send your husband and kids to the Studio to create a card for you and while they are here they can pick up some of your favorite scrapbooking products or get you a Gift Certificate for you to pick out just what you want.

Project 3/50

I just wanted to share a wonderful idea/website that I found. It's called Project 3/50 and it talks about supporting local brick and mortar stores. The idea is to encourage employed Americans to shop at the little stores they would miss most if they were gone.

Did you know that for every $100 spent in locally owned independent stores, $68 returns to the community through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures. If you spend that in a national chain, only $43 stays here. Spend it online and nothing comes home.

I sat for a few minutes and thought of all the businesses I love to shop at and how much I would miss them if they were gone: Jankes Book Store comes to mind, or how about Cafe LeGrand, or Legacy Gifts. There are a lot of other businesses that I would really miss too! As an owner of a local independent store, I would like to encourage you to read about Project 3/50 and do what you can to keep all the little businesses in our community flourishing. I hope that we are one of your favorite places to shop and I hope that we see you soon.

Girls Night Out Crop

We still have a few spots for our Girl's Night Out Crop tomorrow night. The crop goes from 6p until midnight and the cost is $10 and includes beverages, dinner and snacks. Isn't time you got away from the house and spent some time with others who enjoy scrapbooking as much as you do. Call 845-8859 to register and we will save you a spot.

New Arrivals Plenty of new things have been arriving at the Studio. You have got to try out the new Smooch Pearlized Pigment Ink. It goes on anything - metal, glass, cardstock, Flower Soft and more

Corner Chomper

Now you can easily add perfectly rounded corners to paper, cardstock, chipboard, leather, plastic, acrylic/poly and more! The Chomper also gives you two corner options 1/4 and 1/2. This tool is by the same great company that brought us the Crop-a-dial.

Graduation We have personalized school papers and new graduation paper and stickers from Reminisce. It is time to start working on those school albums if you want them done before Graduation.

Save the Date The Central Wisconsin Scrapbook & Stamp Expo at John Muir Middle School in Wausau is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009. Mark your calendars now, so you don't plan anything that day. This is one Expo you don't want to miss. More details to follow.
